Retarded Parents

Running a daycare has it's ups and downs...the downs sometimes are that you get retarded parents as clients.

I just had one of those...who pulled their kid out...which really is a blessing.

They thought they could get out of paying me by calling my licensor and complaining...it didn't work.  My licensor came out today and found everything to be just fine.  We pretty much put all the pieces together and decided her entire motive was to complain out of hopes of not having to pay me what she owed.   

Her complaint #1 were that her kid slept in the laundry room...yes he did...it was dark and as we discussed he wouldn't sleep where it was dark...no issues there.

Complaing #2...my dogs mauled the kids...COMPLETELY FALSE!  My dogs have never hurt any of the kids...they love the kids..and if anything her kid mauled them when he pulled their hair, ears, tail and jumped on them...and those dogs never even growled.

Complaint #3..her kid came home dirty.  HELLO...YOU HAVE AN 18 MONTH OLD KID!!!!!  There is no such thing as a clean one...they feed themselves...and he ALWAYS put his plate on his head.  We always cleaned him up...but IF YOU DON'T SEND EXTRA CLOTHES....I can't change him!

Complaint #4...she had to pay me when he wasn't here...This is a licensed daycare...you pay for your spot whether your kid is here or not.  It's life.

 Thankfully, my licensor was workable and understood my side of things.  She left...no issues...all is good. 

I'm done...over it...moving on.
