- Monday- Russell was parking in downtown Seattle and the Blazer broke. Turns out the A-arm broke. Car towed to his parents...while preparing to tow, saw that the BRAND NEW tire had been punctured when the a-arm broke.
- Tuesday- while his dad was repairing the A-arm he learned that the steering knuckle was also broken.
- And the ball joints.
- Then Tuesday while adjusting the seat in the Camry, he heard something break. Turns out the bolt broke in the seat making it nearly impossible to adjust until repaired. Said bolt is hard to find so a temporary bolt is in place. Seat is adjustable, just not easy.
- Oh and then while out driving the Camry it seemed to not want to start. Turns out the battery was dying.
- Had to purchase said battery.
- Oh and don't let me forget how that the hinge pins in the Suburban driver's door are going out too...so I have to SLAM the door.
- Oh...and how the wiper switch is funky now too....the windshield wipers stop and start whenever they feel like it...no matter what you have it set on....we think we got lucky....they accidentally must have installed moisture sensitive windshield wipers on our 1994 Suburban....they must not have been designed to work until September of 2010.
- It always feels like when it comes to cars, when it rains it pours. And not only us think that....even Russell's dad made a comment about how our car repairs snowball.
- Not very often do I pray for a week to get overwith...this week I do. I'll be so glad when Monday hits here again.
A few good things for the week...
- Russell's Dad fixed the Blazer....so it's back on the road....and got 2 new tires for it....I have wonderful in-laws.
- Finished my Chemistry class with a grade of 3.9!!! Although I owe a lot of that to my husband....
- Got a for sure start date for my classes....July 6th.
- And...today is Thursday. That means tomorrow is Friday...and this work week will be officially OVER! Time to start new Monday.
