First Days of School

What a big day it was in the Steffensen house today!  It was Hallie's first day of Kindergarten, Nathan's First Day of Preschool, AND swimming lessons started back up and this was the first session Nathan was old enough for!

Nathan LOVED preschool!  He wouldn't stop talking about it and he crashed at nap from wearing himself out!  I asked him if he met some friends and he said, 'Yeah, Rachel, and the girl over there and a girl somewhere else.'  I looked at Russell and said, ' I thought part of us putting him in preschool early was so he would have boys to play with and he comes home talking about just the girls.'  Russell thought the fact that Nathan knew all the girls was an awesome thing!  lol

Hallie was so excited for Kindergarten I probably could have woken her up at 4am and she would have willingly got up!  She was watching the clock like crazy.  So after lunch, Russell and I walked her over to her first day of school where Grandma Shelley and Uncle Kevin met us.  We all walked her to class, but first had to make a couple pit stops for photos!  She had a great day.  She came flying out of her class, running into my arms, so excited to tell me how her day had been!  I love seeing how excited she is for school!
