Whoo Hoo!

Nathan has been curious about the potty lately. He runs as fast as he can to get into the bathroom if I make mention of heading that way. He always wants to sit on the potty. So the other day I gave it a shot...nothing of course. He just wants to tour the bathroom.

Today he came running into the kitchen yelling "Mama pee pee"....I said..okay go get a diaper. Because usually he says that when he wants me to change him. He got frustrated and yelled again "Mama pee pee"...I looked up at the timer 5:30 left on lunch...okay I've got time for the bathroom tour again.

Into the bathroom we go...he's very excited. I strip him down, plop him on the toilet...and we sit there...he kisses me...hugs me...plays with the toilet paper...then all of the sudden...PLOP....

I look...holy begeebers...there's poop in the toilet!!!!!

My 20 month old son just pooped in the toilet!!!!!!!!!!

I was so excited...the daycare kids heard me excited and giving Nathan's high 5's they all came running...my house was a buzz with "nate went poop"..."nathan pooped on the toilet"...they all were excited for him...

Now...we'll see if he does it again....I wouldn't mind having him potty trained early...like by 2??? :-)
