Nathan's New Bed

Nathan's nursery, for those who don't know, is decorated in all firetrucks. When I was pregnant with him I saw these fire engine toddler beds on craigslist. I always kept it in the back of my mind for when he was bigger.

I've started kind of looking the past couple weeks. Mostly because people sell those things for anywhere between $50 and $150. So, if I could ever find one for a decent price..close to home...I wanted to snag it.

I found one.

It's in pristine condition. And even came with the crib mattress. I know he's probably a bit too young still...but he is 20 months. So, I'm going to start trying to lay him in it at nap time and bed time. It's up in his room with his crib too...so once he climbs out of the bed..into the crib he wil go. I'm hoping eventually he will just sleep in it. Hallie wasn't in a bed until she was 2...so we have a few months. But...it's ADORABLE!!! And he loved it!

Look just how excited he was! And that little light on top next to him...it actually lights up!
