New News!

Life has been so crazy lately.  It is taking us all some adjustment time to get used to Russell's school being so demanding, me working, kids at daycare...it's just A LOT of change for our family....and our house has suffered!

All those little routines have to adjust and we have to create new routines...and we are still working out the kinks!  :-)  Not too much going on here...so just a list of new news in our house!

  • Buddy is finally eating again!  The poor cat only has about 12 teeth left all of which are in the very front of his mouth.  And he has decided to be picky and only eat ONE flavor of wet cat food....spoiled kitty.
  • Russell finished his 2nd test of med school...and did awesome!  I scored significantly above average which is great....I told him to keep doing what he is doing since it's working!
  • Hallie started volleyball and is loving it!  She has practice twice a week and games start this week.  She is diving in and trying everything she can.  I'm amazed at the improvement she has made from the first practice until now!
  • Hallie went to a 1-day cheer camp today and came home so excited!  Part of the cheer camp is getting to cheer at the high school football game next Friday....she is going to love it!
  • Nathan is loving kindergarten...he has 2 kindergarten classes 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.  He loves school and has tons of friends.
  • Emily turns 2 in 3 days.....I can't believe she is almost 2.  I get tears in my eyes every time I think about it....probably because she is my last baby and these past 2 years have just gone by so fast....too fast.
  • I have an autistic boy in my kindergarten class who has decided that my name is Mrs. Muffin.  It's so stinkin cute I can't correct him.  So...I now respond to Mrs. Muffin.
