Accepted

I've been accepted to City University, pending my interview, to start their Elementary Education program beginning in July of 2011.  Am I crazy????

I registered to take my WEST-E part one in November and part two in January.  Again, am I crazy???

My head is telling me we are nuts, insane, crazy for willingly putting ourselves in a position to have both Russell and I be full time students!  But, my head also tells me to go for it!  So, I think we will!

This means that I will graduate with my teaching certificate in June of 2013 and Russell with graduate with his BS in Biology the same month!

But, this also means that at the time we get ready to possibly move for Russell to attend medical school, I will graduate with a career...a career I can do anywhere!  So that's a plus.

I'm a planning freak, so not being able to plan all of this is a bit unnerving.  My classes will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 530 to 900...and Saturday from like 8 to 1.   So, I see in my future, a lot of parent's helping us get kids to bed on those Tues/Thurs nights!  But, I have faith that it will all work out....not that it won't be stressful at times....but it will all work out!

So....here we sit...with plans to become a teacher and a doctor!  Who would have thought at this point in our lives we would decide that!?!?!!
