Whoops.

I am $124 poorer tonight.

I know from personal experience that a seatbelt can save your life.  It saved mine in July of 2005.

I know how simple it is to buckle up.

I also know how easy it is to get in the car in a hurry and not buckle...or be distracted...or think you are only going 2 blocks.

I know that today, I have $124 less in my bank account since I got a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt.

I know that I will try my very best to not get irritated when my children yell "BUCKLE MOMMY" when we get in the car...they want me safe just like I want them safe.

Lesson Learned:  You can save $124 if you buckle up!
