Cookies for Santa

We got home and the kids wanted to make their chocolate milk for Santa.  See, in our house, Santa doesn't like white milk...so it's always the biggest decision of the night whether we make chocolate milk or strawberry milk.  This year, both kids opted for chocolate milk.

Hallie made reindeer food.  It was oats and glitter.  You see, the oats the reindeer could smell and the glitter would be shiny off of Rudolph's nose so he could find our house.  We had finally gotten her settled down and in bed when she sprang up from bed at like 10pm.  "MOM,"  in a panic voice, "We forgot something."  "What did we forget, Hallie?"  "Mom, we forgot to put out our reindeer food!"

So, at 10pm, Hallie threw on my shoes and went running outside to spread her food.  She covered every inch of our grass...it was pretty adorable.  Russell and I were giggling watching her.
