Huh???

So yesterday, Nathan was sick.  He had a fever and was just grumpy.  He really laid on the couch all day either snuggling or watching cartoons.

Last night I went to change him into pajamas, and his belly button was bloody....not like dripping...but had some dried blood on it.  I was a little concerned...just seemed odd to me.  Plus, it was red and a little swollen.

When he woke up today, it was still all red.  It obviously was hurting him because if you touched his stomach he flinched back and was crying.  I took him to the doctor.  Low and behold, the kid has an infection in his belly button!!!  Ever heard of such a thing????  I never have!

Now he's on meds for 10 days...4 times a day.  I'm hoping it gets better soon...it just looks nasty.
