Life Changes

I've spent a lot of this weekend contemplating our future as a family and what it might include.  With Russell going back to school, a lot is going to change with our family...a lot of sacrifices to be made but at the same time we have oh so much to gain.  At this point if all Russell does is get his RN...we have 3 years...if he wants to get his BSN (which I think he should) we have 4 years....and if he wants to go for the gold and his dream and go on to medical school...we have 8 years!!!!!!!  Craziness.  But, I'm along for the ride.

Now, it's just all about figuring out the finances for when he doesn't work...figuring out where we can make up some of that money and what we can cut out.  It's all about family planning...we had planned for another baby in a couple years...but now what.  Do we wait...do we go for it...do we consider ourselves done?  So many questions...and I've spent much of the weekend trying to figure it out and worrying about it.  But, I have to remember that there is a reason this is all happening now...and I really believe that it's happening now because the resources are there for us and it will work out.   And, they always say that 'Life Happens When You Are Busy Planning It."...I believe that.

So, I think our family is boarding the roller coaster now...and we're on board for all the ups and downs it has in store for us...but in all reality..I'm really looking forward to our future.  It's looking bright and full of promise and new adventures!
