Random Updates...

• Hallie is in South Dakota today. She spent most of last week in Wyoming. Where she saw 'real live antelopes' and went to a 'pretty cool river.' :-) Today, she went to a zoo and got to see a moose 'it was really funny cuz it was eating a log.'
• Nathan has been in his big boy bed for 2 days now...bedtime AND naptime! We're going to take down the crib tomorrow...and let him help us. He's been so proud of himself! Although, every morning I go in there the light is on and teh fan is on and he's playing!
• Russell's dad has his cancer surgery on Wednesday...pray for everything to go well. He's supposed to be in the hospital for at least 6 days for recovery...let's hope they get all the cancer and he heals quickly!
• Our dog run is getting put in today. We had been just waiting to find a good deal on the poles and such on craigslist...we were in no rush. Then, Russell went out to FW to help his dad put in chain link fence at his rental. Pretty soon, his dad is buying all the rest of the parts we need and making plans to come out here and put it all in! I sure have some great in-laws! He said he was getting all the fence stuff as Russell's payment for helping him...but he never expected payment!
• Daycare is going well. I now have 10 kids enrolled....looking for 2 more! Seems like everything is panning out for us!
• With Hallie gone, we've decided that Nathan loves being an only child...and Hallie doesn't mind not being with Mom & Dad! Nathan has been in a great mood and so well behaved. But then again, he does have mommy and daddy all to himself! Hallie is having a blast, and my Dad has to remind her to call us at night! I'm just not looking forward to the post-grandparents attitude when she gets home! We figure, she's always a butt for the 2 days after spending the night with grandparents...so after spending 14 nights with them...we have about a month of pain-in-the-butt-ness. :-)
