SHOW US YOUR LIFE....Wedding Dress

I've been following the blog of Kelly @ http://www.kellyskornerblog.com/.

She started doing "Show Us Where You Live Fridays"....I never joined in those...I don't know why.

But, I'm going to join in on the Show Us Your Life Fridays now. This week is my wedding dress.

Here it goes:

I loved my dress. It had beading and crystals all over the bodice. It had several layers of chiffon over it...making it really a flowing gown. I wore a long veil...past my waist...the trim of the veil had the beads and crystals in a pattern matching my dress. I think my veil was my favorite part! Our 4 year old daughter told me she wants to wear my 'bride' when she gets married...that's what she calls the veil.

I still love my dress. If I were picking one now..after the fact...I would probably pick one with straps or sleeves instead of strapless. There's a few photos of our wedding I don't like...which would have been better had the dress not have been strapless. But it is what it is.

I figure in 10 years we can renew our vows on a beach in Hawaii...and then...I'll need another dress! ;-)
