Daycare is Growing...

So, Shelley has been looking for a job for some time now.

I have parent's that want to bring their children here for daycare, but I have no openings.

SOLUTION: Convince Shelley to come to daycare with me. She will earn money...I will get some extra money...and everyone's problems are solved!

She agreed!

So, I have to be licensed for 2 years before I can up my capacity..which is July. Which we figured would work out perfectly.

Then, I got a call yesterday from a lady needing care for her 2 girls. It all worked out and they are starting on June 22nd! Since my license won't change by then, Shelley will either take my kids and watch them and I'll pay her...or else she will jsut hang out here and if by some chance the licensor shows up...Shelley is allowed to watch 1 family's kids without being licensed...and so she can be 'watching' my kids. It will all work out!

I'm just excited. In this economy, I didn't really expect us to be able to get kids very fast at all. Daycare are closing left and right, and here I am wanting to expand. But, I had a good 'gut feeling ' about it...and it's looking like my gut feeling was right on the money. I have 2 more kids in the wings for Sept/Oct...Maybe a baby come Sept....and who knows what else!

Business is blooming...at least for me!
