I've been telling Russell for a while that I wanted a picnic table. Not only is it nice to have somewhere to eat when it's beautiful out...but it would be nice for daycare kiddos. So, this past week we got an unexpected Home Depot gift card in the mail from our mortgage lady and I decided it was a great opportunity for my picnic table! Russell and his brother headed up to the HD and got all the stuff we needed for only $50!!!!...sealant and all!
This became Russell and Hallie's Saturday project. She was so excited...and just thought it was so special to be making "her picnic table." Daddy let her have fruit punch pop...which by the way has like 40g of sugar in one can!!!!!!!! That's what Daddies are for! She got her pop, got to skip the nap, and even got her own hammer to pound in the nails. She was thrilled.
