We took the kids to the Puyallup Spring Fair a couple weekends back. They had advertised that Dora the Explorer would be there to meet the kids at 11am. So I wanted to get there early so I could wait in line. We got there about 40 minutes early and there was already quite the line to wait in. So I waited...and waited...and waited. We weren't too far back in the line. Dora finally appears....and after 20 minutes is gone...we were about 5 minutes past that 20 minute cut off. Why does she disappear...apparently Dora is so easily stressed out by all these children she gets 20 minutes on and then 20 minutes off....SERIOUSLY!!!!!!! Like I can imagine that costume is hot...but it was like 55 degrees out...and not hot...wouldn't a 5 min break be good enough????? So...our 20 minute wait turned into a 45 minute wait. But Hallie was thrilled...Nathan just kept shouting "Dorda."
