It's been a bit since I've updated this...life has been crazy.
We get married in 3 days if that doesn't make life crazy enough.
Nathan started walking totally on his own about a week or so ago...he's going like mad!
Nichole was supposed to be my Matron of Honor...and 2 weeks before the wedding she started having some pretty serious complications at 30 weeks pregnant...so she's on doctor's orders to stay in bed and is forbidden from attending the wedding. That's had me pretty stressed. Thankfully, my friend Ashley was willing to step up to be a bridesmaid...so we found her a dress and my mom is altering it....crazy...a week and a half before the wedding to replace a bridesmaid...life is crazy...the stories we will have to tell Nichole's baby!
For now..it's just life...busy...so much to do in the next couple days and it feels like we'll never get it done...but we have to!
We went and got our marriage license last Friday....that made it a little more real. Although I don't think it will totally hit me until I'm walking down that aisle....just all this planning and all this time...the day is finally here and it just doesn't feel real yet!
On top of all that...we leave next Thursday for Italy. So we have to recover from the wedding and get all that stuff put away...to leave for Italy only a few days later! I'm going to need a vacation after this weekend! :-)
But all in all...I'm so looking forward to finally marrying Russell...it's about time! It's funny...I was bored today when all the kiddos were sleeping and googled to find out how long we've known eachother....7 years, 4 months and 6 days. Pretty hard to imagine it was 2, 646 days ago that I saw that guy in the superman t-shirt....and here we stand today...getting married in 3 days!
life is crazy.

The thing I learned is that you will never feel like you got it all done for the wedding and yet when the day comes, you both forget about it and everything seems to go off smoothly anyway. I hope that encourages you! :) I'm so happy for you! Wish I could be there (darn kid's camp)! Have so much fun in Italy!!! WOW! I am jealous, that is amazing. Where in Italy are you going? Congrats, Stef, I'm so happy for you!
