Show Me Yours...

So tonight Russell and I and his brother Terry are sitting at the dining room table looking outside at our kids playing. The 7-year-old neighbor boy is up in his bedroom window talking to the girls. I'm watching him and see him begin to pull down his pants...I go outside and tell him he best leave his pants on.

A few minutes go by and I see him look to see if we are looking. Then I see Hallie start to pull her pants down...Russell and I YELL at her to get inside. She comes running, scared with no idea why she's in so much trouble. I asked her why she was doing that and she says 'he said he'd show me his privates later.' I immediatly went and got my shoes on and went marching next door to talk to the parents, while Russell talked to Hallie.

The mom was FURIOUS! And I have no doubt that little boy had a chat tonight and it won't happen again. I know that stuff is normal curiousity at 6 and 7, but the girls are all 3 & 4. Plus, with a daycare I can't risk him doing stuff like that.

We had a good laugh after the fact...but still. I just couldn't believe he was doing it from his bedroom window with no attempt at hiding it. So we sat down and explained to Hallie that we don't do things like that....etc.

We'll see if the little boy is up in his window again any time soon!
